Music & Comedy Club: Sirkan Sote ja Rauha

Kummeli presents: The pathologist and health centre doctor Sirkka Pohjantalo, known from the Kontio & Parmas series, has decided to go on tour. Fueled by current budget cuts and layoffs, Sirkka has developed a new method called EFS, Enhanced Solution-Focused Healthcare. In short, the idea is simple: if nurses and doctors can be laid off, then surely patients can be laid off too.

Armed with this method and her famously strong opinions, Sirkka now tours the country giving lectures together with her assistant, the Jussi Award winning musician and actor Heikki Hela. Throughout the evening, the audience will experience different patient scenarios and hear some very direct commentary about the Finnish social and healthcare system, all delivered in Sirkka’s unmistakable style. Familiar characters from Kymäläinen’s “ämma” to Hurtta make an appearance, and a few of Sirkka’s hit songs are also featured.

This show will not leave anyone cold. Even though, as a pathologist, Sirkka might prefer it that way.
