The works in Art Collective HÄIRIÖ’s Cultural Shit Show photography exhibition are observations of the world and its phenomena, viewed through subtly distorting lenses and leaving behind a lingering, forehead-throbbing sensation.

In its current form, Art Collective HÄIRIÖ is a collaboration between two part-time artists. The collective’s creative energy stems from an ongoing exchange of ideas, an experimental process, and fearless conceptual exploration. Their work strongly engages with the diversity of the human experience, the transformations taking place in the world around us, and the power dynamics and conflicts between individuals.

The exhibition is part of the official Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme.
