A New Water Safety Event for the Whole Family is Coming to Raahe!
Welcome to the first-ever Long Live Raahe Water Safety Event on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

This free event will take place around Pikkulahti, Museum Shore (Museonranta), and Terässatama Guest Harbour, offering activities, experiences, and valuable information about safe boating and enjoying the water for all ages.

During the day, you can:
- Try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP)
- Test the Wibit floating water obstacle course
- Learn about water safety through an interactive Water Safety Trail
- Enjoy a free sauna day at Musta Sauna
- Explore equipment and vehicles used by authorities and safety organizations
- Learn about the local sailing club and its activities
- Travel free of charge by shuttle boat between Museum Shore and Guest Harbour from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

The event is free and open to everyone. Bring your swimsuit and sauna gear, and join us for a fun and memorable day by the sea!
