Welcome to celebrate village day in Parlahahti school yard on Sunday 11.6. from 12:00 to 15:00.

Throughout the event: Darts competition, exhibition of old photos of Tapani Lisko, old tools exhibition, horseback riding (12:00–2:00 p.m.), plant identification tests for children at the Arboretum, the Martta association of Pyhäjoki selling traditional Finnish pea soup, Scouts selling raffle tickets.
The village association runs a cafe.

Parlahahti is a lively and cozy village in North Ostrobothnia in Pyhäjoki, on the shores of Bothnian Bay.

Road number 8 crosses the village. The center of Pyhäjoki is a few minutes away by car - even by bike it takes just 15 minutes. The nearest town Raahe can be reached by car in 20 minutes and the southern neighboring municipality Kalajoki in less than half an hour away.

There are over 350 inhabitants in Parlahahti, around 160 households. The village's first houses are mentioned among the houses of Pyhäjoki as early as the 1540s.
